前役臨時休兵的台裔後衛林書豪17日復出出戰奧蘭多魔術，替補出賽將近20分鐘，攻下17分，可惜布魯克林籃網以111：118落敗，本季首度連勝還要再等等。
籃網前3節打完只落後1分，但魔術砍將Evan Fournier決勝節連得10分收尾，即使林書豪單節獨得7分也無濟於事。
林書豪之前因背傷停戰17場，13日對休士頓火箭復出小試身手，前役對洛杉磯湖人又休息，不過今天看起來沒有大礙，13次出手進7球，貢獻17分、3籃板、3助攻。
魔術方面，致勝功臣Fournier攻下21分，Serge Ibaka「雙十」18分、10籃板，轉任第六人的「白魔獸」Nikola Vucevic繳出21分、10籃板，非常有效率。
